• We have over 20 years of experience handling and caring for companion animals and we often educate and alert owners to behaviors and medical issues that we find which require the attention of a veterinarian and also advise our clients how to troubleshoot problem situations.

If something does go awry while you’re away, we can contact you and then coordinate everything needed to resolve the situation back here so you can relax and enjoy your vacation or concentrate on your business trip.

How many visits per day do you need?

• Healthy cats usually only require one visit per day unless you have a particular dietary routine or medical condition which requires additional visits each day. We can customize any pet sitting visit schedule that suits your particular needs.
• Dogs require three visits per day. We visit in the morning, afternoon and late night, approximately 8 hours apart (roughly 8am, 3pm and 11pm). In some cases more visits may be necessary depending upon special dietary or health requirements and your particular needs. We cannot skip visits or provide a “lesser degree” of service. What do we do during each visit?

• We keep your pet on his/her familiar, consistent routine.
• We feed, water, exercise and spend quality one-on-one time with your pet.
• We scoop and clean litter boxes.
• We administer medications, supplements and special diets, if applicable.
• We look after your home and property and make efforts to make it appear as if someone is there full-time by operating alarms, alternating lights, drapes and blinds, and retrieving mail, newspapers and packages. We urge our clients not to stop any services to avoid alerting others that you’ll be away.
• We do a daily walk through of your home and property to make sure that the environment is safe for your pet, to make sure that all systems are functioning properly and to be sure that nothing unusual has occurred between our visits.
• Ultimately, we provide our clients with peace of mind because they know that professionals are caring for their pets and their property while they are free to enjoy their vacation or focus on their business trip.
